Cebu General Services, Inc. is one of the Philippines’ largest service provider. It was founded in May 23,1974 – over four decades now. It started with just four office staff and a hundred of workers purely focusing more on the clients’ janitorial needs. Recognizing the changes in market trend and clients’ needs over time.

CGSI has created its own brand of quality service, paving the way to companies ethical and professional approach that has certainly transformed the mindset of the client when it comes to service contracting, and as a result, CGSI was able to developed a long term business relationship with more than 100 companies nationwide, with which, 80% are from the Export Processing Zone. Cebu General Services, Inc. (is the number one service provider nationwide and) continually provides services to its clients (from entry level up to executive positions) coming from wide range of industries ranging from multinational corporations, private-owned businesses, and entrepreneurial start ups. Founded last May 23, 1974 in Cebu City, with the following persons comprising the first set of Board of Directors:

In January of 1999, the company underwent a major reorganization, which resulted in the election of the following officers.

  • Danilo C. Deen, Jr., Chairman of the Board and CEO
  • Eric Anthony C. Deen, Secretary/Treasurer
  • Ross Rica K. Deen, Director
  • Roselle C. King, Director
  • Regan Rex T. King, Director

Since then company has grown to be the leading service provider in the country under the leadership of its CEO , Mr. Danilo C. Deen Jr. CGSI launches a major thrust in its service supply to factories inside and outside Exporting Processing zones in Cebu, Laguna, Cavite and Batangas. 

CGSI MILESTONE

Cebu General Services, Inc. has established a significant amount of financial asset to fund the company’s operations. Its business operation started with only four (4) office staff and one hundred (100) workers.To date, the company expands its operations tremendously and significally with over one hundred fifty (150) office staff and the current headcount thirteen thousand (13,000) workers assigned to the different companies located in Mactan Economic Zone, Mitsumi Realty, Inc. – Special Economic Zone, hospitality industries and other establishments in the province of Cebu and nationwide.

CGSI workers have complied with all pre-employment requirements, such as but not limited to Police Clearance, Medical Certificates, among others. All workers are furnished with uniforms, ID cards and other personal protective equipment as deemed necessary. An orientation is given to discuss work values and company rules and regulations. CGSI also ensures that hiring and releasing of employees will be done in a just and legal proceedings to avoid labor disputes. All workers are members of Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, HDMF/Pag-ibig and their respective contributions are remitted promptly and accordingly. Currently, Cebu General Services, Inc. is proud to announce that it is now a certified ISO 9001:2015 compliant organization certified by TUV SUD.
